Update from Tanya

Today was the boy’s last training, they were putting a lot more effort in today’s training than yesterday. Afterwards, Mario presented each of the boys with a bag with a couple of MACSA t-shirts and a water bottle.
This evening we went to the ice hockey game. We were told it would be a really good game as the Sharks are currently at the top of the ladder and Chicago on just beat them last time they played. Sharks have not lost a home game for some time. Well we must have been bad luck. The stadium was pretty amazing and the atmosphere electric. Up until the last 4 mins of play shark’s hadn’t scored and the score was 7-0. I was thinking that we weren’t going to get to see a home goal until they scored 2 in the last few minutes of the game. The crowd went wild and it was great to experience. The crowd was over 17000 and a full house. Not sure that I’m too impressed with NHL these guys chase a tiny puk around whilst seeing how many guys they can smash against the wall and then they had to try to get this tiny thing into a small goal protected by a fully padded big guy. Anyway it was a very enjoyable night.
