Update from Tanya - NFL Game
There was not a lot happening on Thanksgiving day as this is normally a holiday that revolves around family but Coach David managed to find out about Wa highschool American Football game not far from our hotel. When we arrived we discovered that it is a 60 or so year tradition between two rival schools and has been won by Lincoln High for some years now. The competition is called the Big Bone...

update from Tanya

The boys have today and tomorrow training and that will be the end of the training. It is a wonderful opportunity for them to gain the most out of such an excellent coach. It is a shame that most of the kids don’t see that as they didn’t put much effort in to today’s training.
Mario had organised some games for tonight. The first one was both teams individually...
Just the Usual
24/11/09
Today after breaky we left to train with the one and only Mario. Training with Mario was very good but many people were messing around and not being serious. We were at the MACSA centre all day today. The first game was at 10.30 which was played by Vikings Blue. There was a group doing free 10min massages and the boys (and supporters) were taking advantage of the opportunity.

Update from Tanya

Kai is not great on details.
Yesterday the boys were taught defence zoning by Mario. Mario informed the boys that MACSA had been operating for 13 yrs and in those 13yrs MACSA teams have won 30 national US titles. Mario is the Coaching Director of MACSA (I think that’s his official title). That is a pretty amazing opportunity and experience for these boys to receive training...
